Elvis is in the building, and he's brought the whole neighbourhood with him. The Beer Engine is turning the Titahi Bay Mall into a laid-back Elvis festival, running alongside their drive-thru Vegas wedding chapel, where every ceremony is officiated by The King himself. This is a free, all-ages event with a scheduled programme of karaoke, lip sync, and lookalike competitions throughout the day. Expect plenty of pompadours, big ballads, and friendly rivalry, a hum of voices and laughter echoing across the mall. The Beer Engine team and local celebrities will judge the contests, and performers and spectators are equally welcome. Food will be available to purchase from The Beer Engine and other local Titahi Bay businesses including TBay Café, Kams Fish and Chips, the Mariner, and TBay Bakery, with drinks available separately. Come to compete, or simply pull up a seat and enjoy the show.
