Marketing Manager

We are on the hunt for a culinary-inspired, resilient and creative operational Marketing Manager.

This central role leads all tactical end-to-end marketing and content plans for experiential event platforms and sponsorship activity. Marketing is data-led and reaches across multiple channels. Our annual brand campaigns are developed in association with creative and delivery partners designed to engage and entice all audiences.

  • Experience in delivering edgy, creative and effective marketing and communications campaigns across a variety of platforms and media
  • Experience in growing audiences 
  • Strong copywriting skills 
  • Great relationship management skills
  • Five years minimum marketing experience agency and/or client side 
  • A passion for the greater Wellington region and our superb culture of hospitality.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a commercial business environment would be preferred
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline would be highly regarded
  • Tourism or event marketing experience would be preferred.

PR and Communications Manager

We are on the hunt for a culinary-inspired PR and Communications Manager.

Our organisation is unique in the world of food tourism. This is your opportunity to help shape public perception and be a brand voice as we embark on our next five-year strategic plan. 

You’ll be responsible for developing and leading strategic PR plans that foster influential relationships with key New Zealand and international media. You’ll be acting as spokesperson and storyteller. You’ll be comfortable creating content for owned and paid channels, commissioning and securing editorial, hosting media and building our reputation as the best in the business. 

You’ll enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic environment. We’re a close knit and high performing team that achieves outstanding results year on year. 

If this sounds like you, contact us! We're keen to speak to you if fit the above AND have:

  • 5-7 years’ experience and a proven track record of success within a commercial PR/communications environment
  • Strong demonstrated experience of effective creative, copywriting and content development 
  • Established media landscape knowledge and existing relationships throughout local/national and international food and tourism media
  • Self-starter who is resilient, positive, energetic, mature and prepared to do that extra bit to get the job done
  • Experience in food, culinary tourism and/or destination marketing is desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
  • A comprehensive knowledge of the culinary and brewing industry and an understanding of communications and PR in these sectors would be highly advantageous.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a commercial business environment would be preferred
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline would be highly regarded
  • Tourism, food or event PR experience would be preferred.
