• Uncover a delicious meat-stry with Hudsons Coffee Coastlands' 'Meast-stry Masala'. It's easy being cheesy

Some say it ain't easy being cheesy but these three coastal faves are proving that wrong with these fromage-filled feasts.

• Take a gamble on the 'Casino' from Passo Pizza Pasta Caffe, with its variety of Italian delights sandwiched between a crumbed lasagne 'bun'. Smashed beef and thyme patty with pancetta, pilsner and three cheese fondue, pickled savoy, and a tomato and red onion chutney served with a side of casarecce fries and pea-aioli. ($32)

• Say "hola" to 'Breakfast with Queso' - a brekkie inspired beast from Hola Mexican Kāpiti. Dig in to a chorizo patty capped with a quattro cheese pancake, bacon, caramelised onion, lettuce, tomato, and cola BBQ sauce. Muy bien! ($30)

• Fon-do yourself a favour and head to the Jolly Pub and Kitchen for the 'Eager Cheesy'. Find a beef patty with smoked streaky bacon smothered in a cheese fondue and Marie Rose sauce between a sesame brioche bun. Complemented with onion jam, housemade mixed pepper pickle, tomato and Kewpie charcoal slaw - you're in for a flovour explosion. ($28)
