This year there were more than 200 entries across the Wellington region, with 11,500 ratings received from burger-loving fans. The new festival format has firmly placed the spotlight on Burger Wellington this year, and venues have been buzzing with burger fans this August!

Finalists for Burger Wellington presented by Garage Project in alphabetical order:

• Foxglove Bar & Kitchen - Smashtastic Mr Fox - $18

• Kanama Kopi Kadai - Oo La La! - $25

• One80 Restaurant - Goan Chicken Ros Pao - $29

Some venues will be keeping their Burger Wellington entry on after the festival, and all finalists will have their burgers on for now, with One80’s burger coming back later in the week. 

Visa Wellington On a Plate Festival Burger Wellington winners will be announced on 4 September, 2023.
