George Motz: Burger Scholar
- Tue 25 Aug, 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Anyone that fancies themselves a smash burger expert knows who George Motz is. He has dedicated his life to burgers - he has written about them, made films about them, and cooked them for the masses. This has rightfully earned him the Burger Scholar title. Now he is bringing that knowledge to this burger loving city, at the bottom of the world, to share with all of you.
On stage, Motz will present his world famous "History of the Burger" starting from his research into the origins of the sandwich from 13th-century Mongolia to its rise as an American staple and now a favourite all over the world. You’ll then get a full demonstration of the burger that gave him a global following - the Oklahoma Onion burger. The demonstration will be projected overhead live to capture all the detail and he's holding no secrets back. The night will conclude with a Q&A
Your ticket includes the presentation, live cooking demonstration and Q&A. No food will be served. A cash bar and merch will be available to purchase on the night.
