A hop, skip and jump Rose & Smith showcases the Wairarapa's culinary Jewels
Experience the central-Mexican flavours of the Yucatan at a barbacoa over fire and coals in Rose & Smith’s outdoor kitchen. Dale Keith recreates his barbacoa with premium Wairarapa meats slow-cooked over fire and coal with all the classic accompaniments for this three-course Mexican fiesta. Appetizers such as Kingsmead chile con queso, empanadas with Tora Collective tuna and Greytown Butcher chorizo, Palliser Ridge lamb oyster shoulder on the barbacoa and churros with Schoc's chilli chocolate top off the evening.
Dine as you please at shared long tables, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the cantina. All five senses are catered for, move your body to the Latin beats on the outdoor dancefloor, under the milky way and festoons. Come and go when you please, stay for a long or short time.
