Very Demure: Try These Mindful Burgers This Weekend

While we’re all about the burgers that pull out all the stops, sometimes it’s good to keep it understated. Here are some entries that are demure AND mindful for you to try in the final weekend of Burger Wellington.

Beleaf In A Greener Future by Rātā Cafe

Risk It For The Brisket by The Polish Sausage Company

Beleaf In a Greener Future by Rātā Cafe: This plant-based beauty includes a jackfruit patty, vegan mayo, a gluten-free bun and profits go to the Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne conservation mahi. Very mindful.

Burgetta by Loretta: With grilled chicken, halloumi, sundried tomato, chilli, and feta. We’re seeing from reviews that this burger feels much lighter and healthier than others. This is giving us understated and demure deliciousness.

Fin-Free Flipperwich by Kanami Kopi Kadai: This vegan ‘fish’ burger is served with a side of sundried tomato spiced chickpea sundal. Catering to all dietary needs this burger is the people’s burger, very demure.

Kiwi As Fish & Chippie by Smith The Grocer: The fish is pan-fried and locally sourced - very mindful.

Risk It For The Brisket by Polish Sausage Company: Demure isn’t often an adjective you’d associate with a brisket burger, but we reckon it applies here. Keeps it light on the ingredients front with just five and for just $15 - very mindful…of our wallets.
