Garage Project was started by Pete Gillespie & Jos Ruffell with help from Pete’s brother Ian. When they started out they were tiny. Garage Project wasn't even micro brewing... It was truly nano brewing. But what they lacked in size they more than made up for in agility and ability to experiment.
Pete and the brew team had been trying to create a 0% beer for years. Eventually, in 2021, TINY Hazy IPA was born. It was an instant hit, placing third in the NZ GABs hottest 100 (the first time a non-alcoholic beer has placed in the podium!). Since then they’ve released two more TINY varieties, TINY XPA in 2023 and TINY Stout in 2024.
Throughout the years they’ve been fortunate enough to gain the unwavering support of some incredible fans and they wanted an exclusive place for them to be able to get special beers and special perks. With that, FRESH Club was born, where members can get the newest FRESH Hazy IPA delivered to their doors every month as well as regular exciting perks, merch and extra GP delights.
Well, almost! Venues may continue to serve their delicious burgers for a bit longer. Keep an eye on their social channels to find out if your favourite is still available. We'll keep all listings live until 30 September so you can reminisce about your festival burgs.
