What is more comforting in the winter months than a good ol' Sunday roast? Well, this festival, the premium French mustard Maille (pronounced “my”) is teaming up with four iconic restaurants across Wellington. Together, they’ll serve up some great kiwi kai, with a little... as the French say... je ne sais quoi. Each Sunday of August will see a different restaurant serving up their version of a Sunday Roast, elevated with Maille mustard.
August 4 - Concord Bistro & Bar Roast beef, Maille honey mustard carrots, Yorkshire pudding, Jerusalem artichoke brie gratin, duck fat roast potatoes, sauce robert. $38
August 11 - Floriditas Maille whole grain mustard seasoned Porchetta, green apple, celeriac remoulade and wholegrain mustard cream sauce. Part of a three course set menu $65
August 18 - Thistle Inn Roast pork belly, Maille dijon mustard, rosemary, sage, green peppercorns, Maille wholegrain mustard sauce, duck fat roast potatoes, honey glazed carrots and winter greens. With brioché butter pudding with Maille honey Dijon ice cream. $49
August 25 - Liberty Restaurant Liberty Bannock bread, whipped avocado and chilli Maille Dijon butter. Confit of Cambridge duck leg, maple pumpkin, Maille wholegrain mustard and Red cabbage choucroute, duck parfait, and Yuzu $48
