Jardin Grill’s Sous Chef Ponpon Nerona, originally hailing from the Philippines, wants Kiwis to experience a classic Filipino Boodle Fight using kamayan – the traditional Filipino hands-on way of sharing food. The meal is served on long tables layered with banana leaves, rice, and stacked with barbecued meats and seafood. This way of eating is often saved for special occasions and celebrations, so bring a bunch of your closest friends and dig in!
