St John’s has an amazing atmosphere. I love their delicious menu, excellent cocktails and their outdoor area is great to relax with friends, when you catch one of Wellington’s rare sunny days, that is.

2. How is this cocktail the perfect match?

The bureaucrat melt is punchy, it’s got that wow factor, while also being a little sweet!

The perfect occasion to drink the bureaucrat melt would be on Friday night after a long week, it’s the perfect little energy boost for the weekend ahead.

4. What did you think of the food pairing with the cocktail?

Because the cocktail is quite tart and tangy the sweetness of the cherry meringue & juniper marshmallow complimented the drink perfectly.
