Our eateries have got your back! It’s still safe to step out
February 17, 2022

Feeling a little hesitant about dining out? There’s no need to be. You can be rest assured our incredible local venues have solid measures in place to keep both you and their staff safe. This includes:
- Checking vaccine passes
- Wearing masks
- Double vaccinated
- Capped at 100 people
- Space between groups
On top of this you’ll see free hand sanitizer available to all, and extra cleaning to keep COVID out and customers in.
With more people working from home our local eateries need our support more than ever, especially our friends in the CBD. Take a break from your desk and meet a mate for a coffee or lunch, or head out for an after work catch up. After all, there’s only so much excitement at home lunches can bring, and you can feel good about directly supporting a local business. Now is the time to dine out and support your favourite eateries, so they can be here in the future. Want to go the extra mile? Check out how to support hospo and eat your way around the Red Light.
If you want to know more about what our local restaurants and eateries are doing to keep you safe check out the Restaurant Association’s campaign DineOutHelpOut. They also have some very useful tips and information about "What if you become a close contact".
