Six Cocktail Wellys to work up an appetite

September 24, 2021

Someone once informed a member of the Visa Wellington On a Plate team that a Bloody Mary had as much protein in it as a steak dinner. We’re fairly certain that’s not accurate, however the inspiration behind cocktails often lies within culinary dishes.

We picked six Cocktail Wellington presented by Tommy’s cocktails based on favourite eats, classic dishes and flavour combos - if this doesn’t work up an appetite for cocktails, we don’t know what.

The majority of Cocktail Welly cocktails come in a non-alcoholic versions - so the non-drinkers in your life don’t have to miss out - and every Cocktail Wellington comes with specially paired with a morsel to eat - from casual bites (fried pizza-Nutella bites, glazed cocktail meatballs, mini donuts) to the bougie (oysters, lemon and honey caviar, sliced beef fillet), but always delicious!

Cocktail Wellington wraps up on 3 October, so be sure to make up a list of your favourites, hit up your friends, whānau and/or significant someone, and raise a glass!
