Calling budding poets and hopeless romantics - this is your opportunity to share your love of language, with a food and poetry degustation. This four-course dinner is a physical manifestation of love and an ode to food. Join Simon Sweetman, Wellington writer, critic, musician and poet, as he reads some of his own poetry, and yours too if you're feeling game. Chefs Tim and Aaron Banks will lovingly create a four-course dinner with ingredients locally sourced and lovingly produced by small scale sustainable farmers... and perhaps they will read their own poems too. If you're feeling poetic bring along your own poem specially crafted around this year's festival theme 'Food is Love'. It can be as long or short as you like, as happy or sad, comical or tragic, Keats or Bukowski. Spot prizes for various categories including 'Most Related to the Theme' and 'Most Obviously Foodie' poems. Includes four courses, and a welcome glass of bubbles on arrival.
