Harringtons ale-braised beef cheek and smoked glazed pork belly, with Kāpiti cheddar fondue, ale-battered onion rings, iceberg lettuce, pickled green tomato, chilli jam, and green-shire aioli in an umami buttered potato bun, with paprika-kale ash salted rustic chips.
Vegan/Vegetarian alternative: beef cheek and pork belly replaced with vegan pulled 'beef' and vegan 'facon', Kāpiti cheddar fondue replaced with vegan cheese sauce.
Inspired by the Prancing Pony tavern from Middle-earth: a gathering place where travellers share stories and pass on recommendations. Like the Ring itself, the burger is designed to be something people feel compelled to share.
