Tim & Mia Tracey
Tell us about yourself: Pickle & Pie is the baby of Tim & Mia Tracey. It’s a Wellington-take on an NYC deli. We make all the classics like Lox salmon, Matzo Ball soup, Reubens and of course Pies and Pickles. The main ingredient of our pickles (cucumbers) is grown locally in Otaki and hand pickled by our chefs in-house at Pickle & Pie
Tell us what makes you special? People love the generous food and the beautiful sunny setting which looks out to Denton Park, a little slice of greenery smack-bang in the CBD.
What support would you love to see from your guests? Using our click & collect ordering system or ordering Pickles & Pies for delivery from our website.
What's a favourite new offering? We’ve just released a limited edition batch of pickles which is a huge hit with people that love spice; Spicy bread & butter pickles.
Who's on your hitlist for your next outing? Tim and Mia are super excited to try Mabels – we’ve been meaning to get there since they opened but have been busy riding the Covid wave. Also keen to get back to August for lunch in the sunshine.
Any quotes or thoughts you want to share? We’ve been in this pickle for two years now and if you’ve got this far, you can keep going. Keep hustlin’
